Common Cents

Well, it has been a long time coming; the penny is on its way out! It won't be long before you don't have to roll pennies and your wallet will feel pounds lighter. Although there are so many great things about the penny being banished slowly, I also realize that there will be no more Canadian maple leaves on our coins, which is a little saddening. Even our coins are ashamed of the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The next thing that Canada should do is include taxes on the price tag in a store so you can know exactly what the price is. In Canadian grocery stores, tax is on some food products, while not on others, making you play a taxable food guessing game. I just want to know the price before I get to the cashier!
